Deep Sea Fishing!

Ben went deep sea fishing with a group of 6 men.  They left from a nearby beach area on a lancha, what we would call a small fishing boat.  They trolled for about 2 hours, and caught nada!!  Ben said it was incredibly beautiful, and they saw lots of sea turtles, but as for the fishing, not successful at all, except for…

Fishing is a great way to spend time with men around here.  For many things they will say they can’t get time off of work to be there, but if you mention “fishing”, they all seem to show up!!  Ben has enjoyed to fishing trips with men, and really enjoyed building these relationships and learning about this aspect of their culture as well.
