So today the kids and I had a morning out at Blakeney shopping center. We visited our favorite store--Target--then walked across to our favorite coffee shop--Starbucks and had drinks and colored! As we walked back, we enjoyed some fountains and a little play area--the kids managed to get soaked, but it was so fun! We walked back towards our car, and I asked the kids, "What are some of the things you will miss in Charlotte when we move to Mexico?" Here are some of the things they said:
Hailey: Chuck-E-Cheese, "My friend Hayden", stores--to which I added "like Target!" and she said "Oh Yah!", "butterflies", "Chick-fil-A", "English"
Lydia: "our friends the Swineharts", "the ground' (not sure what she thinks we will stand on in Mexico!!), she followed this one with "stairs"!!, "fountains"
Brady: Monkey Joes, and whatever his sisters said!!!
Brady asked me--"will we be there a long time, Mom?" I told him we would be there 2 years, and that when we get back he will be 4 1/2. "Whoa!!!" he said!! "I will be big!"
