New Year’s Celebration!! Snack Foods and Games!
It was a hard holiday season in many ways, as we all greatly missed being with friends and family, and the traditions we are used to. But we also grew closer together as a family, and worked hard to create new memories and new traditions. We enjoyed delivering Christmas cookies and breads to many families here…Christmas shopping in the market and in the little shops of Ometepec…Jesse Tree…Christmas carols in English and Spanish…watching “Miracle on 34th Street” and “White Christmas” together…our own family game night on New Year’s Eve! We are so thankful for all that God has done in our lives over the past year! He has been so faithful and so good to us! Jesus truly has been our Emmanuel, God with us, this year! We praise God for all His many blessings to us, but most of all for the gift of His Son!
