Thanksgiving with the Kimbells!

We had a wonderful week in Louisville KY with my sister and her family! We drove through the night on our way out there and made it in under 8 hours, with no stops! That is for sure a record with 3 kids!! I'm so thankful I have a husband who loves to drive and does well driving at night--especially without any help from his sleepy wife!

The week was full--7 very busy and energetic kids! The girls dressed up a lot, danced a lot and took care of babies really well! Hailey has really stepped up her mothering skills since being with Anna and Rachel. She has even named her baby now that we are back home!

Ryan and Trev took good care of Bradyn! Bradyn loved climbing the stairs and finding all the toys in the playroom or the boys' room. And his favorite thing to do was to throw toys over the banister! Wow--how different boys and girls are. I realized some of the new battles I will have at home with a little boy roaming the house!

We went to Chuck-E-Cheese one day and the kids played and played for a couple hours--spending lots of tokens and getting tickets! And then spending the tickets on suckers and stickers! (Although I think we could have bought several bags of suckers and stickers for the same price!) We also went to the Art Museum where they have a kids area with hands-on art projects for them to do. The girls loved painting and desigging a kaleidoscope on the computer!

Thanksgiving was a feast! Some other friends from the church came and enjoyed a great meal with us. The kids had their own table, which was fun--even though adults kept going back and forth for seconds, to cut up food, to intervene... We truly have so much to be thankful for! God has been so good to us, and has blessed us in abundance. We are truly thankful for His generosity towards us!!

It was a great week! Great weather, lots of great food and great time with family!! We just wish we lived closer! We pray that you had a great Thanksgiving and that you have had a chance to thank the Lord for His generosity towards you! Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy the slides of our time!!
