Our little Missionary!

A couple of days ago, Hailey and Lydia came in to our living area while Ben and I were working on Spanish.  They sat on the couch and Hailey said, "Lydia has something she wants to tell you."  Lydia then said, "I asked Jesus into my heart!"!!!!!  Hailey then helped her share with us what had happened and how she (Hailey) had talked to Lydia about sin and our need for a Savior and how Jesus wants to live in our hearts.  "I asked Lydia if she wanted to pray and ask Jesus into her heart and she said 'yes', so we prayed together and I told her what to say."  (Hailey)  It was so precious to hear and to witness.  Hailey has such a sweet heart for people, and really was so excited to share the Gospel with her sister.  She said that when Brady woke up from his nap she was going to tell him about Jesus too and see if he wanted to ask Jesus into his heart also!  Ben and my hearts were overflowing with joy!  Pray for Lydia--that the seed that was just planted would truly grow and bear much fruit!

As a mom, one of the most precious things is to see my children praising the Lord.  We have had some really sweet moments together as a family singing to the Lord and reading His Word!  Just the other night we were singing "Here I am to Worship" and the girls were truly praising the Lord, singing "I'll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross!"  Oh, the truth of those words--Jesus has done so so much for us, and the sacrifice He made is more than we will ever be able to comprehend.  And to hear my children singing those words with such joy and thankfulness was a good reminder to me of God's great gift to us in Jesus!

Jesus, give us all the faith of little children!
