We had the privilege of being part of the Week of Champions on Hilton Head Island again this year! This is a yearly event in which athletes from all different sports are brought in to do free clinics on the island for kids as an outreach. It is such a great ministry, and so many kids hear the Gospel throughout the course of the week.
We stayed in a house with the Swineharts-- 7 kids under 5, 4 adults and 2 amazing high school girls! JoAnna and Ronna came with us to help out and babysit in the evenings. They were such a blessing to us, and were so helpful. Several nights they put 10 kids to bed--and before 9:00 even!! Not many adults can do that!! It was a crazy house, but lots of fun. There was a pool in the backyard which was lots of fun for the kids!
Ben and I enjoyed the time with other couples during the week. We ate lots of good food, laughed a lot and just enjoyed sweet adult conversation. It was a real joy and encouragement in our marriage! Enjoy the slide show of pics!
